BARCELONA EURO-MEDITERRANEAN SUMMIT
(27th and 28th November 2005)
In preparation for the Barcelona Euro-Mediterranean Summit, to be held 27th and 28th November, in Barcelona, members of the media interested in covering this event are hereby informed that they should obtain their press credentials before 6 p.m. on Friday, 18th November.
1) PRESS CREDENTIALS
Applications for press credentials should be sent via e-mail or surface mail, and contain the following information:
a) Journalist: National ID/Passport/National Fiscal ID number, full name and surname(s), date and place of birth, cell-phone number, and e-mail address.
b) Media outlet: name of the media outlet, type of media (agency, daily newspaper, radio, television, magazine, other), country, postal address, telephone number, e-mail address, website, and applicant’s job title (e.g., cameraman, reporter, producer, technician, logistical support).
c) In addition, attach a current photograph of the applicant.
E-mail applications should be sent to [email protected] , with an attached JPG file of a passport-sized colour photograph of the applicant.
Surface mail applications should include a paper copy of a passport-sized colour photograph of the applicant, and sent to:

The Barcelona Euro-Mediterranean Summit website will soon be up, and it will be possible to apply for press credentials online, as well as to obtain updated information regarding the event.
2) ACCOMMODATIONS
Once journalists have applied for credentials, they should contact the hotel reservation centre, through the webpage <http://www.barcelobusiness.com/paginas/icc/promociones/euromed/>, where they will be able to reserve their rooms individually.
3) VISAS
Nationals from those countries that, in accordance with European Union regulations, need a visa to enter Spain, are reminded that they should apply for it with sufficient advance time for its processing at the corresponding consular office.
